Flying home from Yangon I decided to break the trip in Singapore and that allowed me to venture down the river during the evening and take a look at the observation deck on the Sands the following day. Staying at the Scarlett had meant I had walked past the Sri Mariamman Temple a number of times but this was the first time I actually visited it.
