AGENDA:

6:30    Welcome

6:45    "Certification"
         by Pete Calvert of Vectra.

	There are an increasing array of IT and pseudo-IT certifications
	available, and some are being incorporated into secondary and tertiary
	curriculum streams. This talk will start with available certifications
	and tertiary education programs, then look at how they compare and
	contrast with each other, the marketplace perceptions of both and
	finally the appropriateness of both when compared to real-world
	experience.

7:30    Food and General discussion

         Beer, pizza, soft drinks and discussion of current IT issues.


WHO:    SAGE-AU Members, prospective members, and other
         people involved with system administration.  Non-members are
         welcome to attend two meetings before joining.


DIRECTIONS:

Vectra Corp is in the eastern-most of the old ETSA buildings on Sir
Donald Bradman Dr between Designer Direct and South Rd.  There is a
large carpark next to it which you can park in.

Please let Grant Ward (grant.ward at member.sage-au.org.au) know if you
will be attending so that we can adequately cater for food and drink.
