IPv6 Status Check

This script tests a domain for IPv6 accessible services. It will try to connect to the web server, mail servers, and DNS servers for the domain. It will try to determine if there is a public NTP service by looking for a IPv4 version first and it will also look for a XMPP based service using a SRV record.

If it can identify and successfully connect to a service via IPv6 then this will be judged as a success. Partial success is awarded if there is a service but it doesn't use the main domain, for example if the web service is hidden as www.ipv6.$domain or just ipv6.$domain.

A number of domains are monitored automatically and they are available via a separate web page. Consulting http://www.mrp.net/IPv6_Survey.html may be quicker than waiting for this script to run :-)

You are accessing this page via IPv4 from 38.107.191.96

Enter the base domain name you wish to query:

The script will test www.$domain so don't include www on the domain string. Similarly don't start it with ipv6 unless that is part of the domain name. The script will check if there is a SOA for the string you entered.
